The Europa Bodybuilding Show
My favorite event was the men posing to music. Most just walked stiffly to the stage and changed poses when the music changed. But this contestant actually danced to the music while he posed and was a big hit with the crowd.
Another favorite of mine was a unique "Hot Mama Contest" complete with swim suits, photo shoots and the kids.

One end of the exhibition hall was taken up with the bodybuilding show, the middle had all of Europa's vendors and there was a variety of strength completions at the other end.
Walking around among the vendors, I tried samples and learned as much as I could in such a big crowd. The big news for me was the Lactose Free Protein Shakes … Many of the Protein Shakes have a new formula and/or label… they are now Lactose Free and say so right on the front of the bottle. Yea!! Now if they just all had the GMP stamp of approval.
However I didn't find a single protein shake I liked better than the Protein Ultimate, and I tasted all of them that gave out samples. Matter of fact one of them left me looking for a place to throw up. Fortunately, the urge passed after 30 minutes and then a stick of gum covered the taste. Which by the way was not too bad, but it had a slimy texture. So after a few minutes my stomach let me know this product was not for me.
I did find one product that I thought really tasted good, and that was a pre-workout drink made by Myogenix. The people around me were all excited about the formula, which I know nothing about, but since out of all the products this was the only one I really liked, I thought I should mention it.
(Just an FYI…if you order something from PureBody Nutrition and you don't like or it doesn't like you … they will take it back and suggest something else…voice of experience here!)
Lou Ferrigno was there along with all the big names in the business. I'm really not into all that but I could hear the people around me "gasp" as someone special walked by. I just knew about Lou from "The Hulk" TV show.
At the other end of the hall, I was surprised to see they had arm wrestling, regular wrestling, power lifting, and something called grappling. All I know about grappling is that I saw a teenage girl with several metals around her neck for grappling and thought it was really great that they had something for young people.
